Majorca


Once again it was time for the art tour called "La Artevisita" on Majorca. A gentleman called Wilhem Tham, resident on Majorca, is in charge of organising it and does so with unstoppable enthusiasm. He started the "Artevisita" in October 2005. We are between 50 and 70 artists from nine different countries, but mainly Spanish, who have two exhibitions together and open up our galleries to the public during the same weekends. It is a nice way to let the public see the island and our art.

This time it was during two weekends, starting on the 19th of April and then again on the 26th of April. I had my gallery open and quite a lot of people visited me and I served wine and tapas, that just makes it cosier. My gallery is situated very centrally near the church and that makes people drop in as they pass by. The house used to be the old healthcare centre and is rather beautiful and a great place for showing my work. More information on the "Artevisita" can be found at www.laartevisita.com.
